I’m Helen (DJ Jazzy Kappa) an open-format DJ/MC and sound curator with 25+ years’ experience creating refined, high-energy atmospheres across corporate events, elegant weddings, and beautifully curated dance floors.
My approach is equal parts intuition and precision. I read the room in real time, blend eras and genres seamlessly, and shape a musical journey that feels effortless from the first arrival song to the final hands-in-the-air moment. Every set is crafted around your guests, your pacing, and the experience you want people to remember.
Behind the decks is a foundation built on both events and music. I began in event planning while studying a Bachelor of Music, working across corporate functions, weddings, and workshops before moving into project delivery which means you get calm structure, impeccable timing, and confident MC presence, without the ego.
I played drums through childhood and studied a Bachelor of Music at university where I focused on wind instruments, with main one being the alto saxophone, and I bring that musicality into every playlist that I create in the live moment.
